Baptism is the process of admitting a person into the faith of Christianity. They believe that only those who choose to believe in Christianity should be baptized.
They work on principles of everyone being accountable before God. They do not pray to Mary or other saints. They only pray to Jesus alone.
They started with the English Separatist Movement. After that, there was a surge in the number of Protestants.
Roman Catholic Church and Church of England separated during the protestant reformation. Those people who left the church are known as Separatists.
